Xabi Alonso will miss Tuesday's Champions League match at Chelsea as manager Rafael Benitez has decided to rest his playmaker for this particular game.
The Liverpool manager said Alonso has just returned from injury and doesn't want to risk him for a game that the Reds don't have to necessarily win as they have already qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League.

Benitez said: "Alonso won't be in the squad for the Chelsea game. He told me he wants to play but I said no, you must rest. All players want to play.

"If it was a game that we needed to win to qualify then maybe he would have played but we have already qualified."

the last kl trip was good.. went to a few pubs/clubs to chill over the weekend... was at zouk kl on friday.. as usual that place stinks... hahaha.. music sux.. then pop over to velvet.. okay.. tink they improve a fair bit.. music much better.. was there till 1++.. then went over to rum jungle.. was there till they closed.. 4am.. haha.. then we did the kl thing.. had nasi lemak till 5am.. haha.. of coz then sat was a super unproductive day lor.. spent watching movies and coffee with frenz.. i watch 3 movies in that day sia...
