Ok... this GE i am more involved.. due to a good fren's Boyfren who happen to be CST's campaign manager.. haha.. so this year i did more than raise the flag and ride the lorry... i was a polling agent..

ok la.. it was a pretty boring job lor... i was posted to cedar girls sch and sat there from 2pm till 8pm...


i was tasked to strike names off a nominal roll after the voters collected their polling cards... so it is a mundane job lor.. and of coz it took its toll on me..i fell asleep as usual.. no surprises here..


Then when it came 8pm, it is all over liaos... yipee... sealed up the boxes and send it upstairs.. cedar was incidentally one of the counting centres lor.. i went back to town council to wait for good news...

True enuff at abt 1030, 2 lorries came by, asked us to step on and go to bendemeer sec...which is th announcement centre.. this GE no one is allowed in.. so not much slogan shouting and fanfare.. we waited till almost 1115..when we saw Mr Chiam and famlily and his vote counters gg into the centre, we knew in our hearts, VISTORY was ours liaos.. then the coffeeshop opposite came alive with pple chanting CST and PP.. hahaha... of coz by then, we knew we won by 11-12%... which was a bigger margin than the last GE... hee~


Of coz the ntie din end there lah... we went on to Lor 8 toa paoh to meet and greet the voters and shake their hands.. and lastly went back to PP..where a fantastic procession held on.. but it was marred to the fact that there wasnt a liscense for them to hold a victory tour on that nite itself.. so sad..
