For the Love of the Club
We’ve slipped from first place with a comfortable lead to now chasing Manure.
We’ve drawn far too many matches.
We’ve sold Keano without a replacement.
We’ve offloaded Pennant without a replacement.
We’ve been knocked out of the cup by Everton this morning.
We’re probably gonna lose Stevie G
It’s no wonder the fans have been so miserable of late!
To put things back in perspective, here are some FACTS:
Rafa has improved our team every single year.
He has bridged the gap between the top clubs to now being in 2nd place within 2-3-or-5 points of UTD - ‘the Kings of Europe’, who else can boast 4 of the premiership’s (perhaps even the world’s?) best strikers in Tevez, Berbatov, Ronaldo and Rooney.
Prior to this year our season has always been over by February. Our results against the top teams haven’t been this good for a very long time.
The league table doesn’t lie, and it suggests Rafa is leading us to solid improvement, that we’re catching up to our rivals. We are truly and deeply involved in the title race that we all wished to be in way back in August.
This year, we sit in second, above
We are definitely in the middle of a title race.
Now is the time to get back behind our teams and start asking for our Gaffer to deliver the 1 thing we all asked for in September and August - A title challenge.
I’m not saying we shouldn’t be frustrated. That’s natural when you lose to our poorer cousins in the cup (Sorry Wilfred), or draw 7 matches in 10 matches. I’m just saying that despite all that, we are still fighting for the league, and now isn’t the time to lose faith.

Feeling abit under the weather recently.

The moment i lay on my bed, i fall asleep almost instantaneously
Talk about last night bah.. finished my 8pm con call at 9pm..then i lie on the bed waiting for the 11pm one... then the next thing i know it was 845am... hahahahaha
Emo-rants
a random concert thingy i picked up during the rain-watching juz now.. i sat abt 30mins, staring at my laptop and watching the rain pitter patter against the window panes.
then i was reminded of this song...
i shrugged off the emo thots and feelings..
went off for a cuppa.
came back and resumed my staring and admiration of the rain.

Once I establish myself, once I get my feet on the ground and have a solid foundation and a stable career, then I'll really have the resources I need to give to God. Imagine how much God will be able to do once I've established myself.
This is wot we always say right?
Of coz no one says this outrightly, but through the actions and speech we manifest, its evident.
I of coz is guilty as always.
Charge is making God wait. Or rather the things of God.
Our response is always “I'll live for you later. I'll give to you later. I'll worship you later. First let me take care of this thing called my life.”
But did we ever pause to hear God’s voice uttering "I want right now. Not later, not someday. I want to love you right now, right here."
And when He does, when that's our foundation, we cannot be uprooted.
Remember He first loved us. And he is reaching out to us still

“Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid.”
I always liked this verse for a few reasons unknown to many of you.
First of all, it comes right out and says that if you hate being corrected, you're stupid.
Brutally Honestly Frank. As straight as an arrow can be.
The truth is plain and for all to see. Yeah, you're stupid. PERIOD
Whenever sum1 tries to say, "The Bible is so complicated, I can't read it because it’s so difficult to figure out," I tend to remember this verse.
Another Blatant Truth in this is that we're all going to be wrong somehow somewhat someway.
We're going to make mistakes whether you can or cannot pre-empt it.
Yes, whether u likey it or not, you're going to commit mistakes. No mistake about that.
Allow me categorically state that We're not told that the person that made a mistake and needs a correction is stupid, we're told that the person that hates it is stupid. Big difference.
Third, it says we're supposed to "love discipline." MY GAWwwd..tough teaching...
First things first, I couldn’t stand discipline. At best, I can only tolerate it.
I have never been a lover of organizations and discipline. At best i am a follower.
But what i learnt here is that discipline is necessary...
A fren recenlty told em to be m,roe disciplined as well... talk about timely reminders.. hahahaa
**FOOD FOR THOUGHT**
When was the last time you could honestly say that you "loved" discipline?
I always liked this verse for a few reasons unknown to many of you.
