There is always some madness in love.
But there is also always some reason in madness.

Quiet Time
Proverbs 12:28 – 27 (NIV)
27The lazy man does not roast his game,
But the diligent man prizes his possessions.
28In the way of righteousness there is life;
Along that path is immortality.
Proverbs 12:28 – 27 (MSG)
27 A lazy life is an empty life,
but "early to rise" gets the job done.
28 Good men and women travel right into life;
sin's detours take you straight to hell.
This is the truth.
We often forget we have won or received the best Gift in Life for free.
All at the cost of someone who died on our behalf.
This is horrible to say, but I do concede that sometimes I forgotten that I have found the path that leads to immortality.
I have found the path of immortality. (
We exclaim that we love God.
We exclaim that we love
We exclaim that we love the Holy Spirit, but we seemingly get used to them.
They become objects of our convenience.
They become those whom we turn to in our times of need only.
They become ordinary to us.
We don't share them with other people anymore with the same fervor and fever.
Why is this so? Especially when we have found a trail that leads to immortality.
We have found the answer, the path and the truth that leads to immortality.
Ask yourself today, do we believe that?
Do our actions indicate that we believe that?
Does our speech show it so?
What if we all really did?
What if, in depths of our hearts, minds and souls, we believed that we had discovered the path to immortality?
What would change in our lives, actions and speech?
What would we do differently today?
For one, you'd have to look real crazy.
There is simply no sane way to tell someone, "Come here, I found something the other day. And I know where the path leads…. Immortality. (
And seriously once you do that you wouldn't be able take God casually anymore.
It would get really hard to treat him like a part of your life instead of your whole life.
So have you ever forgotten that who we've found isn't just a friendship or a fulfillment of broken hopes and dweams?
Have you ever forgotten that God is the path to immortality?
Have you forgotten your First Love?
