I read this from channelnewsasia.com, and the first thought that emerged was

"Wah lau ehz... why every GE..they wanna play mind games with us Potong Pasirians..."

And here's the one which is the icing on the cake:

Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong has expressed concern that Hougang and Potong Pasir residents will lose out on upgrading if they do not vote for the People's Action Party.

Mr Goh says: "I do not want the two constituencies to be left behind, especially Potong Pasir, an old estate. Five years down the road, assuming Chiam do win, there will be no upgrading.

Wah lau eh... If i did not remember wrongly (apologies if i did) PAP said sumtin along this line the last GE.. so is this really the final decision... i mean if we are held at the ransome of upgrading..should we yield... hmmm... my mind goes groggy now...

i do not know whether is this the case of big brother flexing his muscles thru using upgrading as a carrot.. but upgrading costs are also borne by us.. not the ruling party lor... so wats the gift here.. the right for upgrading... that menas upgrading is only given to ruling party wards ah... hmmmm... so much for one pple, one nation one singapore... hahahhaa... it should eb mroe aptly read as one pple, one pap lor... sighh... maybe i m juz politically naive lah... well.. when the time comes ot cast the vote.. we all know who to vote for la..
