Rajpat (father) : I want you to marry a girl of my choice
Son : "I will choose my own bride!!!"
Rajpat : "But the girl is Bill Gates's daughter.."
Son : "Well, in that case...ok"
Next Rajpat approaches Bill Gates.
Rajpat : "I have a husband for your daughter...."
Bill Gates: "But my daughter is too young to marry!!!!!"
Rajpat : "But this young man is a vice-president of the World Bank."
Bill Gates: "Ah, in that case...ok"
Finally Rajpat goes to see the president of the World Bank.
Rajpat : "I have a young man to be recommended as a vice-president."
President: "But I already have more vice- presidents than I need!"
Rajpat : "But this young man is Bill Gates's son-in-law."
President: "Ah, in that case...ok"

CHENNAI, India (Reuters) - The government of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu said Tuesday it would float a global tender for color television sets that will be given free to tens of thousands of poor people.
New state Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi said the 14-inch (35-cm) TV sets, which he had promised to people living below the poverty line in the run-up to local assembly elections this month, would be distributed from mid-September.
The 83-year-old leader, who wrested power from his opponent J. Jayalalithaa in the elections, also promised rice at 2 rupees ($0.43) per kg for the poor.
About 30 percent of India's more than one billion people live below the poverty line.
($1=46.20 Indian Rupee)

Alot of my frenz will know that i am a big, if not huge fan of Trance... but of late, other genres seem to overshadow and kill it slowly outta of the scene.. namely Hiphop or... !@#@!$@# i really dun understand wazzup with it.. or rather wat is with it...
I stumbled across this club in little india.. hahahaha.. you're right.. little india.. And it has a quirky name - Baa Baa Black Chic.
it is near an old computer repair shop along perak st. Further down is the Abdul Gafoor Mosque. hee~.. interesting location eh..
The place is really abt the music, not abt the crowd or menu.. though the drinks are rather cheap.. can view it here

This is so true ... so many times we get carried away and forget our primary
purposes / goals.

A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to visit their old university Professor.
Conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in work and life. Offering his guests coffee, the Prof went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups: porcelain, plastic, glass, some plain-looking and some expensive and exquisite, telling them to help themselves to hot coffee.
When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the lecturer said "If you noticed, all the nice-looking, expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is but normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and stress. What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the better cups and are eyeing each other's cups."
"Now, if Life is coffee, then the jobs, money and position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain life, but the quality of Life doesn't change. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee in it."
Dun ever let the cups drive you... Remmeber to enjoy the coffee instead.
