The arrival of Sentosa Express

The wait is over and I am delighted to inform you that Sentosa Express will officially commence operations from 7am on Monday, 15 January 2007! Guests can conveniently hop onto the Sentosa Express trains at Sentosa Station at VivoCity and be on the island in less than four minutes.

With the launch of the new Sentosa Express, a contactless smart access card called Sentosa Pass will be introduced. This Pass includes admission to Sentosa island. The Sentosa Pass is available at S$3.00 per person per day from the following locations:

* Ticketing counters at Visitor Arrival Centre at Sentosa Station
* Ticketing counters at all Sentosa Express stations (except Waterfront Station)
* Cable Car Ticketing counters at Mt Faber and HarboutFront Tower II
* Ticket vending machines at all Sentosa Express stations (except Waterfront Station)

Payment can be made by cash, NETS and major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, AMEX and JCB).

Sentosa's public buses to and from HarbourFront Bus Interchange and the on-island buses will operate as usual.

Sentosa Express operational details:

OPERATING HOURS
7am to 12 midnight daily
Sentosa Station: First train departs at 7.00am and last train at 11.45pm
Beach Station: First train departs at 7.10am and last train at 12.00am

Sentosa Station: This station, located on the 3rd floor of VivoCity, connects to Singapore's MRT network at HarbourFront MRT Station.

Imbiah Station: Alight here for Imbiah Lookout's cluster of attractions, namely Merlion, Images of Singapore, Sky Tower, Sentosa Luge, Sentosa 4D Magix, Butterfly Park and Cable Car.

Beach Station: Alight here for white sandy beaches, sea sports, pubs, cafes, food court and restaurants.
