when you meet the girl you love with your whole life, she says she wants a 2carat, you will buy it for her.
simple as that.
you want to see her eyes light up and that brilliant smile of hers when she sees the ring.
theres nothing to understand.
if she doesnt like diamonds and has a thing for gold, you will buy the gold.
