NBA Finals Game 1

- Defensively for the Spurs, their main order of business is to discourage Bron's driving lanes to the rim. I see them doing this in 2 ways:
1) sending traps/ hard doubles to get the ball out of Bron's hands,
2) sagging off the Cavs either in man or some zone looks.

Either way the Spurs want the Cavs to prove they hit their outside shots.

-- When not doubling Bron, you should sag off Bron & don't stunt at him. Don't give him a reason to get his dribble going, let him take stationary jumpers with his feet set. I think he's much more comfortable when he can get movement/rhythm to set up his jumper. This is why I like some zones from the Spurs because they encourage more set jumpers.

-- Can anyone from the Cavs keep Parker out of the painted area? That is a big question mark right now, especially with Larry Hughes at less then 100%. As important as Dan Gibson's outside shooting is to the Cavs in this series, it might be more important what he can accomplish on the defensive end vs. Parker or Manu.

-- Cavs need to try some pick-n-pops with Bron & Big Z if Duncan is guarding Big Z. Hopefully this will drag Timmy away from the baseline, where is such a monster defensively.

-- Sasha Pavlovic has to step up in this series. He has been erratic offensively in the playoffs---Sasha's only shooting 38.6% overall in the playoffs & shot just 39% vs. the Pistons. The Cavs desperately need his shooting stroke from deep.

-- One thing the Cavs need to try to exploit in this series is the Spurs' defensive glass. The Cavs are one of the best off. rebounding squads in the NBA, and use this strength to offset their mediocre shooting pct. The Spurs had some troubles keeping the Jazz off the off. glass in the West Finals--Spurs had a Defensive Rebound Pct. of 69%, not very good.

Those are a few tidbits to look for now. I'll have some more later, still surfing the net for news. The above are some questions and answers from Fans and Analysts around the World, aku juz cut and paste them and add in some comments

Its Halftime now, with Spurs at 40 and Cavs at 35.

Let's get this party started !!!
