The thing abt Public Holidays

You know the thing about public holidays... how we constantly whine abt they never having them on Mondays.. well .. in my boredom absolute inquisitiveness, I decided to check if any country moves their PHs.

To my delight, I found the land of the rising sun…. and to top it off, they have 17 phunkalicious PHs. We only get a measly number of 10. Furthermore they only have the months of June and August without a break whereas we have constant dry spells in Mar, June, July & September.

Talk about rising sun and dot in the map.

The best part about japan is this. The government moves the dates of the public holidays to Mondays so that the public actually can get a long weekend off.
