1. I hate veggies… to the point of Anti-veganism.. hahaha…

2. I have a penchance to sleep soundly and not hear anything else… That why waking up each morning for work is such a chore… My mum once said, “Even if Singapore kena-ed bomb, you would have slept straight through.”

3. I must have white noise around when i do my work.. .Be it music (either trance or mandopop,)or TV, playing when I do my work. It’s more of white noise bah, I guess. Also when I work I turn off my IMs & internet browsers to concentrate… even though the white noise continues...

4. I know this sounds masochistic but I actually enjoy watching those super sad, unhappy ending shows like A moment in time/ Happy Birthday/ Crying out love from the center of the world.

5. i am quite shy.. Stoppit, dun lauff… I dunno how to elaborate on this but I really am quite shy towards pple I dunno well.. so most fo the time I only hang out with good frenz…

6. I like drinking kopi-o-kosong peng… so I drink it like 3x or 4x a day… caffeine addict.. My kopi-shop auntie, sees me, nods her head and prepares my concoction

The Meaning of R.S.V.P.

RSVP does not stand for "Remember Send Valuable Presents" lor.. btu if its my invite u talking about, then yes it probably means i want huge thick wads of cash & valuable presents only.

I hear more and more often, and have discovered in my capacity as events organiser that hosts often do not receive firm(ED: not even half-baked RSVPs lor~) indications on whether guests intend on attend their parties, even if R.S.V.P. is clearly printed on the invitation.
This could only mean either one of two things.

First it could mean that rudeness is a growing trend in our society.(ED: Nayyy.. It was prevalent since the day the earth started its orbit)

Or, as I would believe, people no longer understand what the term means.(ED: Aiyoo.. juz search the web.. Voila~)
Assuming the best, and that the decline in R.S.V.P.'s can be attributed to ignorance and not rudeness.

What RSVP Actually Means

The term R.S.V.P. comes from the French expression "Répondez S'il Vous Plaît", meaning "please respond".

If R.S.V.P. is written on an invitation it means the invited guest must tell the host whether or not they plan to attend the party. It does not mean to respond only if you're coming, and it does not mean respond only if you're not coming (the expression "regrets only" is reserved for that instance).
It means the host needs a definite head count for the planned event, and needs it by the date specified on the invitation.

Why It's Inconsiderate to Not RSVP

An incomplete list of attendees can cause numerous problems for a host including difficulty in planning food quantities, issues relating to minimum guarantees with caterers(ED: u know wat a bother these hooligans are), uncertainty over the number of party drinks(ED: IF TK is coming, all he needs is a doggy bowl But if PMG is coming, i need the entire APB) and difficulties in planning appropriate seating(ED: Like not putting Unce & uknowwho together), among many other things.

So the next time you see R.S.V.P. on an invitation you receive hor~, please call your host and kin kin respond.

But hor~ if you see RSVP regrets only, dun gong gong go respond coz it means a totally different matter
