Yes, in the same way that a tornado might be called an air current.
Shockingly True
The following is a (supposedly) true story, as seen by millions of viewers on a Spanish T.V. Channel:
The parents of a teenage girl decided to put their daughter's name forward for a surprise game show. She idolized teen-age pop star
However, upon returning home from school and finding the house empty, the daughter made her way down to the kitchen where she opened the fridge and removed a tin of pate - at this stage the live TV audience is wondering, "What the hell is going on?"
She then went back upstairs to her bedroom where she proceeded to remove all her clothes and spread pate all over her triangle of womanhood (at this stage Ricky Martin is still hidden inside the wardrobe, and half of Spain is seeing a young girl stark naked on the bed with pate all over her crotch).
As if the parents were not shocked enough by this, the daughter then calls the family dog, who obediently trots up the stairs and settles down to his favorite meal of "pate on a bed of seaweed". At this stage the order is given to cut the broadcast, leaving a very embarrassed set of parents in front of a live studio audience! Consequently, sales of tinned pate have rocketed.
Random Thots

Now read without the word dog.

Paper Anniversary

31st July 2008 marks the 1 year that you’ve been apart from us physically.
Mentally was 6 years ago.
I tink you’ve found peace and release in the netherworld.
I never knew living without you in my life was so tough.
This entire 365 days was spent numbing myself the first 4 months…
then losing my identity over the subsequent 4
And finally picking up the pieces over the last period.
Mum is fine.
She has visited temples in China with her sisters.
She adores my little nephew whom adores her equally.
Both of them spend most time together.
I am glad that little punk is helping her.
Life gives rise to life.
I remember my dad being a bit of a character, which is my experience that as men (and really women too, but I'm focusing on dad) age, their idiosyncrasies that are kinda funny and it juz blows up into just plain ridiculous and nuts. I can't speak for everyone but I think most dad's are a bit looney in their own way as they and us age together.

My dad is wonderfully generous and completely dedicated to his family.
My dad is a biker fanatic and he has probably every class of license there is, he has had a Yamaha Bike for about the last 10 years, my mom was constantly nagging at him to get rid of his riding. His main biker buddy is also a man whom he works for before his illness and a co-investor in his business. They used to go to biking trips all the way up to Southern Thailand and Malaysian States every year. (They don't go as much in the recent years due to constant family nagging and the long ride on the North-south highway which wipes them out physically and mentally)

This is my Dad
The best father a kid could ever have
You laughed a lot and kept me happy
Even if some of your jokes were kinda crappy.
Never punished for my stubborn pride
You bought me all my wants
At times I was sent to bed without any dinner
You would bring me to McDonalds
On the pretense of buying evening papers
In my eyes, Dad, you are always my Hero.
From broken legs to a broken life
You helped me though all of life’s transitions
As I grew older, I grew to learn how hard it was for you
But your resilient love for me kept shining through.
You were always there to calm all my fears
Until that day I found you deeply asleep
During my many crises, you always knew what to do
I yearned to learn more from you.
But you left me to fend on my own.
After 30 years of walking with me,
Hand by hand,
You let go.

Today marks a year of living life without you.
D DAY
Those kind of uneasiness like between sitting and shitting...
Goosebumps appearing all over...
hair standing....
interestingly enuff... i actually lost sleep over this issue last nite...

Hard Ground

Its very interesting to note how people change with power. And how someone with malicious intent can change things. People dun change overnight and its probably dumbass me who treats everyone as a fren and gets my head caught in the slammer. Its been kinda of a weirdball week thus far. I cant put my finger to it but i do know who are with me and who aint. So my next course of action would be known by end this evening. I m calm now. Silently Awaiting.

Keane a Red

Robbie Keane has become Liverpool’s second most expensive signing and their biggest of the summer, penning a four year deal for a fee that could rise to £20.3m.
Irishman Keane arrives from Tottenham with an impressive goalscoring record and a vast amount of Premier League experience. The 28 year old was a Liverpool fan as a boy and is close friends with Reds captain Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher.
Keane is seen by Rafa Benitez as the perfect strike partner for record signing Fernando Torres, costing an initial £19m.
Some Wise Words From Randy Pausch
Get a feedback loop and listen to it. Your feedback loop can be this dorky spreadsheet thing I did, or it can just be one great man who tells you what you need to hear. The hard part is the listening to it.
Anybody can get chewed out. It's the rare person who says, oh my god, you were right.
As opposed to, no wait, the real reason is…
We've all heard that. When people give you feedback, cherish it and use it. Show gratitude. When I got tenure I took all of my research team down to Disneyworld for a week. And one of the other professors at Virginia said, how can you do that? I said these people just busted their ass and got me the best job in the world for life. How could I not do that?
Don't complain. Just work harder. That's a picture of Jackie Robinson. It was in his contract not to complain, even when the fans spit on him. Be good at something, it makes you valuable. Work hard.
Find the best in everybody. One of the things that Jon Snoddy as I said told me, is that you might have to wait a long time, sometimes years, but people will show you their good side. Just keep waiting no matter how long it takes. No one is all evil. Everybody has a good side, just keep waiting, it will come out.
And be prepared. Luck is truly where preparation meets opportunity.
