This week instead of catching up on my beauty sleep on a saturday. I volunteered myself. Hee. It was pretty heart warming to see others giving their all. Since i had no money, so i gave my time and sleep lo.

The King is Dead
I've just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.
Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.
Rest in Peace, King of POP.
PS: i dun tink the world can be healed but still... ...

This weblog is specially dedicated to my very good friend, Cynthia and her daughter Charmaine, who is my god daughter.
Our feisty princess Charmaine has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma. She is currently in the 4th stage and fighting hard. We are greatly saddened that such a sweet and cheerful little girl has to undergo so much pain and suffering at such a young age.
I'm using this blog as a platform for anyone who wishes to share your stories and experience of having somebody close to you suffering from cancer. Please share your personal experience with neuroblastoma if possible.
I would also appreciate if you could leave comments of encouragement for Cynthia and Charmaine. Do sign off with your name or a pseudonym for us to remember you by. =)
In order for us to help Charmaine fight this cancer battle, we require our friends and people who know us to help raise funds for the substantial medical expenses and the expensive treatments which would last more than a year.
We would also appreciate if you wish to make alternative contribution arrangements.

Super funny
I was sharing this joke with Uncle and Cakie and a few others last week... today i found.. okay . here's a good joke for you all..

Three convicts were on the way to prison. They were each allowed to take one item with them to help them occupy their time while incarcerated.
On the bus, one turned to another and said, "So, what did you bring?"
The second convict pulled out a box of paints and stated that he intended to paint anything he could. He wanted to become the "Grandma Moses of Jail."
Then he asked the first, "What did you bring?"
The first convict pulled out a deck of cards and grinned and said, "I brought cards. I can play poker, solitaire, gin, and any number of games."
The third convict was sitting quietly aside, grinning to himself. The other two took notice and asked, "Why are you so smug? What did you bring?"
The guy pulled out a box of tampons and smiled. He said, "I brought these."
The other two were puzzled and asked, "What can you do with those?"
He grinned and pointed to the box and said, "Well according to the box, I can go horseback riding, swimming, roller-skating...."

The jittery Groom
Was attending a wedding and caught WAM idol having the jitters of walking down the aisle.
I remember him being confident and sassy and all that during the rehearsal.
Apparently now he's abit afraid of the crowd as per all kids. with their eyes all glued on him, as he walks down the aisle complete with dry ice and falling petals courteousy of his cutesy companion for the day.
This reminded me of us.
Are we confident of what we do only when no one is looking or are we unafraid to strut our stuff when every eye is set upon us.
To do or not to do, that is the question.
On what basis are our confidence built on.
In whose security can we boast of.
We all have our different sources of strength.
As for me, i would quote a dear fren of mine here
